Originating in Los Angeles, California, the Heart & Soul Gospel Choir (Soul Choir) was hugely successful at staying true to its mission of bringing the love of Christ to those who desperately need it. “It is truly indescribable seeing lives being changed right before our eyes,” says Julie Branham, the group’s Founder and Director. “For me, music is not just art…it’s a responsibility (Acts 20:24). From the time I was young, I’ve known that I had a call on my life to be an ambassador for Christ. God gave me a genuine love for people. He has especially given me an unquenchable burden for those in prison, the homeless, the poverty stricken, and those who are hurting and feel they have no hope (Isaiah 61:1).”
